The Garret is a luxurious conversion of the upper section of a former
Primitive Methodist chapel in Tideswell, Derbyshire. It offers luxury
self-catering accommodation in the heart of the Peak District.
The apartment sleeps 6 guests in one king-size ensuite double bedroom,
one double bedroom and one twin bedroom.
There is a superb and very spacious open plan lounge, dining, balcony
and kitchen area together with a galleried children's games room.
The well-fitted kitchen has a hob, double oven, microwave, large
fridge-freezer, dishwasher and automatic washer.
Opposite this is a dining area with a modern light oak extending table
and chairs to seat 8 guests.
In the opposite corner of the main room, the lounge area has sumptuous
settees, flat screen T.V, DVD player and Freeview satellite TV. There
is a selection of books, over 30 DVD films and CDs.
Opposite this, French windows lead out to an open air balcony with a
fine view overlooking the historic village of Tideswell.
The spiral staircase in the centre of the room leads up to a Games Room
which has beanbag seats, T.V. and Play Station 2 with a selection of
games. There is also a selection of board games.
At the end of the main room a steep staircase leads up to an area with
a table football game and leads through to a romantic galleried twin
bedroom, with more views over the village.
Along the corridor from the main room are two double bedrooms and a
bathroom.
The ensuite bedroom has a king-size bed and is furnished with pine. It
has flat screen tv and Freeview. The other double room is furnished
with oak.
The superbly fitted bathroom has a bath, hand held shower, bidet and
W.C. A hairdryer is provided.

- Linen and towels are provided.
- Tea, coffee, sugar and milk are provided for arrival.
- Central heating and power are included.
- A cot and high chair are available on request.
- There is a large patio garden with furniture.
- Parking for two cars is available.
- Sorry, but pets and smoking are not permitted.
- If you have young children please telephone to
discuss the suitability of the steep fixed ladder staircase leading to
the twin bedded room which has a low velux window.
- We regret that access for people with disabilities
may be difficult.
